“Edo-Kacchu” is an ornament, when the boy is born, people want him to grow up healthy with “intelligence, virtue, courage” which is ideal of samurai.

The beginning is Edo period and it has still continued.

The process is about 5000, and a part of process takes much time.

The present master’s name is Yasuhiro Ookoshi.

He assembled enormous parts into “Edo-Kacchu” by hand.

He has carried on traditional technique.
